I was reading this book earlier entitled Why the Church is as True as the Gospel. I’m not sure I buy that. I love the gospel– its teachings are perfect and beautiful, but the Church tends to just piss me off a lot of the time. Everybody has their own ideas about what a good Mormon is, and I don’t usually fall into that category. After all, I’m not a blonde Republican whose goal in life is to be barefoot and pregnant. Sometimes I think life would be easier for me if I were.
